Information on our facilities for Disabled Guests
Dear guests with disabilities, Our holiday hotel in summer time especially for disabled guests and wheelchair users offers more than just good accessibility. Our family has over 20 years experience in enabling disabled guests to enjoy wonderful holidays. Together with this and by taking advice from our guests, we have created a unique experience in Hotel Viktoria.
The access is level throughout and the door widths are 90 cms . The beds are about 50 cm high, please let us know if this is good for you.
The bathrooms have level access showers with grab rails and the toilets are raised, also with grab rails.
The hotel is in an outstanding location with breathtaking views of the Oberstdorf mountains. Despite being surrounded by the mountains, there are about 40 kms of good level walking trails suitable for wheelchairs, many leading from the hotel. It is also possible to use the cable car up into the local ski areas. There are disabled toilets in the mountain restaurants and also in Oberstdorf itself. Our hotel is in the pretty hamlet of Rubi about 1.5 kms from Oberstdorf and linked by a wheelchair friendly track. We also can provide transport in our wheelchair mini bus into Oberstdorf and around the area.
We also offer limosine service to the train station of Oberstdorf and the aiport Munich, Stuttgart or the nearest: Memmingen

Large open space with reception desk, low level bar and comfortable chairs

Large airy space with spectacular views of the valley and mountains.
Large outdoor patio area for eating al fresco
The hotel has two wings each serviced by lifts. Suitable turning space in front of lifts. Both lifts are 140cms deep by 110cms and lift controls are at 90 cms.
Bed rooms:
Door width 95cms, open level space, wardrobe with clothes lift, phone, colour TV ….Julia I do not understand the next three lines!

Bathrooms
Good space for turning into bathroom. Door width 93 cms. Wheelchair turning space in bathroom 190 by 240cms. Level access shower with shower chair. Low level basin, adjustable mirror. The door opens outwards.
The toilet has a height of about 50 cms. There is space on one side of the toilet 140× 160 cms? There are fixed rails on either side of the toilet
